so.
we [the mattson family] ventured to a restaurant to celebrate my grandparents' 60th anniversary.
a "caribbean"/"premier" seafood restaurant in alexandria, mn. [go ahead... googlemap it... it really IS as far from saltwater as one could get. not to mention, there's only white people as far as the eye can see!]
the menu was a joke. [the jerk-spice was quite nice... just wouldn't've dare called it "jerk."]
the atmosphere, horrific. [though, bearable after 2 mojitos.]
and what to my wandering eyes should appear!?

but a rasta-man statue with dilated pupils and holding a beer.
