i've called in sick to the wedge. though i am feeling better than i did yesterday, this is not a lie; i am sick. but yesterday, i simply could not call in sick. i could not do that to cohortbakeress Rama [rAy-mah]. but today Gary and Rama have shifts, which leaves me the option of recovery.
'tis quite a shame that I've managed to finnagle spare/free time and it shall be spent lying in bed watching dvds and the Emperor's New Groove on VHS.
by the way, to all you iffy-shoppers: don't ever hit the BuyNow! button option on ebay... it would seem that in contemplating the instant purchase (with the exhorbant shipping&handling fee that would've actually made it cheaper to buy in-store) of Freaks&Geeks DVD boxset, I did instantly purchase it. And though there may have been a way around it, I wasn't bothered to find it. Sothereforehitherto: avoid the BuyNow! button unless hellbent on BuyNow!ing.
