the BRUTAL, UGLY truth of my FABULOUS, BEAUTIFUL life.

01:20 + 10.10.2008 = i was going to write something emo-ish [emphasis on the ISH!] ...but i didn't!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i'm quite anxious for the election.
i'm very on-the-fence about my status as an american citizen.
on one hand, i belong elsewhere.
on another hand, i belong back into the arctic scandinavia that i love so unconditionally.
on the other [freakshow, alien] hand, i belong here, in the US. in minnesota... the most coastal of non-ocean states. blue like an ocean, but experiencing quite the red tide problem.
not that mccain has any sort of chance of a minnesota vote. cos he doesn't. even kerry [the duschiest of candidates] won here by more-than-a-slight margin.
the default-brower-setting site is quite promising... i've watched florida go from weakly republican to barely democratic; virginia from tie to weakly democratic; north carolina, from strong republican to tie[!!! omg!!! wouldn't it be dreamy if obama took NC!!! my favourite southern state!!!]; missouri from strong republican to barely democratic; colorado's back'n'forth between barely R and barely D.; ohio says it's barely democratic, but i don't trust ohio. ever.; indiana [home of kinsey, bloomington! ...and the highest percentage of KKK members [that's a frowny exclamation point.] 's republican strong hold is lessening with each poll [["even dumb people are thinking [gov. palin] is stupid."]]; etc.
it's fun. cos it's a map.
that gets more blue every day. ...unless colorado is doing its pendulum thing, that is.
and then there's this video!
[[i met him once. he seemed harmless enough. of course, back then... he was an independent with a good gay record and there wasn't a war in sight.]]
and just because, the one sad thing that'll happen when mccain/palin [hopefully] lose, is that palin will [again, HOPEFULLY] go back into obscurity... which will ultimately lead to an end of the plethora of farce.
speaking of which, i just came across this one.
question: so... how is it that someone born and bred in idaho and alaska all her life speak with a minnesotan iron range accent?
[[rhetorical.]]
