the BRUTAL, UGLY truth of my FABULOUS, BEAUTIFUL life.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

13:26 + 20.09.2007 = silly li'l battyboys and your top40 filth!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

as i drift lazily through the late-morning & early-afternoon sipping coffee, listening to three new albums purchased yesterday [go! team, Proof of Youth; shout out louds, Our Ill Wills; ryan adams, Easy Tiger [[used copy!]]], wondering if i'll accomplish anything today...

...i am also upon most-favoured, dodgy gaywebsite half-hearted perusing, sixteenth-heartedly responding to attempts at chat/pickup.

now then, the headlines of many of the profiles of these slightly-dodgy gays are quotes from songs.

[[personally, if'n i stoop to said-level of uncreativity, i tend to opt for something obscure and form-fitting, i.e. i'm bored of being sycophantic, so get your knickers down from sleeper's "factor 41."]]

MOST OVERUSED LYRIC #1:

"i'm bringing sexy back" or "bringing sexy back!" or similar.

RETORT:

1. where did sexy go that it requires restoration?
2. are you sure YOU are bringing sexy back? i'm all for a healthy ego, but please... ew.
3. in a similar vane, sexy is relative.
4. so sexy is being brought back... IT DOESN'T TAKE A VILLAGE, dickhead. leave it to j.t., please.

MOST OVERUSED LYRIC #2:

"don't you wish your [boy]friend was hot like me?"

RETORT #2:

1. if i wanted my boyfriend to be hot like you, i would make you my boyfriend. lucky for us, i have neither the patience nor enthusiasm for such an endeavor.
2. if i had a boyfriend, he'd be hotter than you.
3. if you meant this to be a "retoricle" question... a) it's RHETORICAL, R-H-E-T-O-R-I-C-A-L. b) don't use the question mark in such a capacity; they don't belong at the end of a rhetorical question.
4. isn't that song from 2004!? [[<--look! rhetorical punctuation in action!]]

[[i'm going to change my headline to kathleen edwards' i don't want to be your friend, just take off your clothes and get into my bed. or maybe, cos sex is actually the furthest thing from my mind at the moment, old Hold Steady... 'he said, it's great to see ya back in a bar band, baby... i said, it's great to see you're still in the bars.]]

so bored.
i want to go grocery shopping.
