life is stupid.
and i don't mean "life" as in the living-breathing-all-limbs&veins-in-tact version of life... cos that sort is quite good... [and in my case, destined to continue forever]. [[afterall, the furthest i've come to being suicidal is the idiomatic "i'd just DIE for a [fill-in-the-blank.]"]]
i, of course, refer to the "life" that has all that bothersome, disappointing human interaction. the interaction that had led me to believe i'd be getting laid tonight. the same interaction that forced me to venture 1.25 hours' drive home after 3.75 drinks. [[anger at thwarted plans is quite the sobering force, mind you.]]
ummmmm, yeah.
someone said today that life is too short to be bitter...
i'm pretty sure life is too damn long to give a damn.
bitterness always wins.
and i'm so f-ing remarkable at exhibiting it!
