co-workers david and benson's band has just been signed.
co-worker kp's band had a contract from Sony on their kitchen table a week before their lead singer ditched them for some girl-he-hardly-knows in texas.
solid gold & gay beast are well on their ways as well...
the point is, i'm regretting turning down that record contract a few years ago... i just have to keep reminding myself that it was a bunk deal... that despite the twang and subject matter, i am not a country-country singer...that i am worth much more than 40cents a disc...that DIY is not R.I.P.-ing...that the pronoun game is SO-90's.
