Hallelujah. We've been saved!
thanks to minnesota public radio, we've an awesome, brilliant!, new radio station. and commercial-free, at that.
the three times I've listened to it whilst en route in my car, the songs that have been immediately on and the songs that respectively followed have been:
1. "Green Flowers, Blue Fish" by superchunk/ "Official Ironman Rally Song" by guided by voices.
2. "Soap Star Joe" by [good] liz phair/ "I'll Be Hard to Handle" by ella fitzgerald
3. "Flying High" by jem/ "Tom Courtenay" by yo la tengo [my favourite yo la tengo song, ever!]
and.... they've Mary Lucia doing music from 2 until 7. and for those that do not know... Mary Lucia is sir Paul Westerberg's sister.
[and yes, i'm still unhealthily obsessed with sir paul.]
