in a maddash to formulate hypothesis or just simple subject for british women writers paper due tomorrow (unspecified time, which i take to mean "before prof leaves for holidays" which i am pretty sure translates into "before noon" since our 12.30 class period has been cancelled for tomorrow).
So thus far, i've read nothing on the syllabus, though i could fake my way through virginia woolf. and i'm nearly halfway through North and South, which i shall finish before thanksgiving because it is devilishly good. I'm only able to put it down to get tea and knit&pearl a few more rows of my loved one's scarf. the scarf, mitten, hat combo must be completed soon as ticket purchasing is in the air and i am nothing but already extremely overanxious.
anyway, yeah... North and South IS quite good and i'm appalled that i had put off reading it so long. I shall be sending reward to recommender via half.com momentarily.
in bestest december new ever... ambryn, bethany and andy will all be down in st. peter for the weekend of Christmas in Christ Chapel at gustavus... the four parts of the whole shall be reunited! hoorah! bethany dear, if you're reading this... do recall that we have cats and that you'll need to stock up on some histamine-blockers for the sleepover that will come to be known as the "Pastoutover." i shall even rearrange my work schedule accordingly.
