i've just arrived home from a lovely, drunken evening in st. peter [mum's house]. i woke up early this morning, did four loads of laundry and rushed back to minneapolis.
...cos i was WICKED EXCITED to have an entire evening to myself since roommate would be working 4pm-1am.
...and the first words out of her mouth as i enter the flat: "i don't have to work tonight! someone called me for my shift and i gave it to them!"
...yeah... i'm never going to be wicked excited about anything ever again.
i'm DYING for a lengthy duration of solitary flat-confinement; another week of not having such will result in a come-to-jesus talk with the roommate.
as for now, i'm just going to lock myself in my room with her cat and sleep off the frustration & ire borne of dashed hopes.
