i just did the majority of my christmas shoppings... in rushhour traffick.

1. i arrived at ikea--a 20-minute drive during off-peak traffick-hours--at realised that i had neglected to transfer my wallet from the work pants to the going-xmas-shopping pants.

2. drove back home, picked up moneys, went in opposite direction of ikea to my favourite of the shopping centres suffixed with "-dale" in the greater mpls/st.paul metro region, Rosedale.

3. went to target nearest my home.

4. went to ikea... again. during peak traffick-hours.

5. nearly-completed all xmas shopperings whilst listening to those scottish, sexily-nightmaric songsters, Sons&Daughters.

6. hit the same target again, but use different check-out aisle and different form of currency.

7. muck about trendy shoppes backside of the quarry and near-most my house. get better gift ideas and the onset of christ-i-have-to-do-this-again-tomorrow pangs.

8. return home. unpack the bags upon bags. take a gander at the map in the livingroom. realise that the frame i purchased at ikea is too small.

9. freak out. ...as frame with new&on-its-way map are to be gifted outward.

10. take to whisky.

...with ginger ale. ...in a mug. ...thanks in large-part to the jul-doings of a recently visiting-ed bestfriend.
