bad idea.
it's cold. f'cold. tune into your nearest weather channel and or weather page for mpls/st. paul specifics. the high for today was acheived at midnight. the weather page says it's 0degrees F but feels like -20degrees F. and an actual -10 (so with windchill: approx. -30degrees F).
so... coffee is needed and outside is not. have the grounds. ooo... have an egg. perfekt! swedish coffee.
What the hell...? one might be asking.
1. boil water.
2. scramble one egg per 1/4 to 1/2 cups of coffee grounds.
3. mix tills goopy.
4. dump into boiling water.
5. let 'er boil down. to desired strength.
6. strain.
the egg is a binder. as eggs, generally, are. you see.... one doesn't need a fine-mesh strainer to strain the coffee grounds out of the coffee. which is awesome. cos i don't have a fine-mesh strainer. nor do i need one [so no buying me one, anyone. k? k.] but i did have the egg. cos i made pad thai last night, but that's an aside.
you see... the egg holds all the grounds together so they won't be in one's coffee.
so try it. you'll like it.
unless you have a coffeemaker or didn't forget your frenchpress at work... in which case, you might as well just do as one typically/normally does.
speaking of normal: yes, i DO realise that my list of lifegoals a few entries back are extremely heteronormative. well... "oops." and, "oh well."
