cpt mjr dad is in town. of course, this was sprung on me at the last minute. lucky for him, it's my day off [though i just worked 6.5 hours at job#2 this morning]. lucky for me, it's payday at job#2 and dad'll be able to schlepp my cheque down to st. peter for me and save me the trip and hassle. maybe i'll make him buy me the guitar that he owes me...
but the point is: today is the last day of my fairweather omnivour-ness. no more meat [including varying-in-colour-of-fins tuna] beginning tomorrow. I shall live it up today. which means, PATTY MELT! hooray! it's been 7 years since i last had one. and they're SOOOOOO good. he-whose-name-we-do-not-mention-here [or, 'djp' henceforth] and I shall be going to costello's... st. paul, beer, patty melt and those eyes... so, i can bare through any amount of father/son/mailorder-stepmum time. which i must begin to do shortly hereafter. let's synchronise our watches and meet back here 6ish tomorrow.
