Tim Pawlenty. or should i say... tim Paw-LENTY o' Problems. since satan has taken office, Minnesotans can now...

1. buy/sell fireworks legally upon MNtan streets, which has greatly reduced the number of South Dakota roadtrips.

2. carry a gun in public.

3. stay at the bar a full hour later, get utterly trolleyed, shoot gun in the air of the streets when bar finally closes then set off round of fireworks.

Lucifer has also tried:

1. to take GLBT language out of hate-crime and anti-discrimination legislation (and MN was the first and for a longtime, ONLY state to have transgender individuals explicitly protected under said-legislation).

2. to outlaw abortion/reproductive rights of women.

3. to ban gay marriage/adoption

4. to switch schools over to an "abstinence"-based sexual education curriculum.

5. to blame jesse ventura and democrats for the gynormous budget deficit.

6. to re-draw voting district lines (yay! now we have MORE republicans in state legislature)

7. to curbtail the building of our first ever decent mass transit system (the lightrail). He has succeeded in blocking any expansion of it... so the current line will only be good for visitors since it runs from airport to downtown minneapolis to airport to mall of america. whoop. di. shit.

Also, visa expiration dates must be stamped on all immigrants driver's licences.

now, i don't want to go blaming any one party in particular for the election of tim jackass... but well, when there's only one solid rightist running against a so-so democrat and bazillion leftist secondary parties AND the ambiguous independents... well... i may mention the name of the Greens. though if we had proportional representation like superior Sweden... we wouldn't be having this problem, and i wouldn't be having accusing a damn good party of stealing the sensible citizens' votes.
