i am faced with the existential dilema: to clean or not to clean? i've never understood why cleanliness is NEXT TO godliness. as if one could create a hierarchial relationship between bleach and myrrh, or jesus and the brawny man. apples and oranges in the former. one-in-the-same in the latter. i suppose i must clean for the chapters of Charlotte Perkins Gilman and Jane Addams that i must select, read and comment upon are buried somewhere under the "clean" clothes and the "worn-once" clothes. (dirty clothes have managed to be quite the good little isolationists--keeping themselves holed up in the other corner of my side of the room.)
goddamnit. i hate the day before break is over. plus, i'm having an eastercandy hangover. those speckled egg pb m&ms proved to be what i call, delicious. moreover, i confused boredom with hunger last night... well, i'll still be thin tomorrow, i said to the cat. she didn't react. i don't think she was listening.
